Dara Czerwonka (she/her) collaborates with top industry leaders in healthcare, corporate, legal, philanthropic, and educational sectors as a senior advisor to Brettschneider Executive Search.
Dara brings extensive experience in coaching, mentoring, and consulting. She is a Board Certified Coach™ and ICF PCC, with executive and wellness coaching credentials recognized by ILCT.
With a Master’s in Social Work and advanced training in Population Health, Dara began her career as a therapist and went on to serve for over 15 years as a CEO-level health and human services executive. She has overseen finances for a $4 billion healthcare organization.
Her eight-year tenure as an elected official provided invaluable insight into the complexities of executive appointments in publicly scrutinized environments. She is adept at identifying leaders who align with broader organizational priorities.
Dara completed her undergraduate studies at Providence College and earned a Master’s degree from SUNY Stony Brook, enhancing her perspective on higher education. A lifelong advocate for learning, Dara led a 501(c)(3) organization promoting access to quality higher education and served as a school board trustee. She continues this commitment by spearheading local efforts to secure college scholarships for children from low-income families, alongside her professional work with education leaders. Dara also serves as chair of the grants committee and a board trustee for a community foundation in San Diego, actively supporting the nonprofit community.
